While Angel Delight is a year round treat, one hot summer’s day I wondered, can I freeze angel delight? To my delight you certainly can. And now these angel delight ice lollies have become a firm summer staple.

And if you have heart shaped molds, like these silicon ones, the popsicles make a great Valentine’s Day treat for adults and kids alike!

If you want to make these simple lollies a bit fancier or healthier then you could try our healthier and deluxe versions:

  • Deluxe – once melted quickly dip your lolly into melted chocolate for a luxury edge
  • Healthy– add some cut up strawberries into your mixture before freezing.

Storage

You can save these popsicles in the freezer for up to 3 months but I recommend eating them as soon as possible for best results.

If storing them in the popsicle mould is too bulky, simply remove from the moulds once the lollies have completed frozen overnight and then individually wrap them in parchment paper and place them in a freezer bag.
